The first thing I think of when I talk about Christmas is the snow and two American cities: New York and Chicago. I know it sounds funny, but I get this association because of the Christmas movies my family watches when the holiday season comes. Their stories mostly take place in these cities. When I see these places on the Internet or TV there is always a lot of snow, beautiful Christmas decorations and lights. It looks very magical. I wish that it would snow more in Slovenia. It gets very icy when there is no snow. I hope that Corona virus will be gone soon, so I can go and visit these two cities! “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas!”

Oh, you know ... All the beautiful seasons... Last spring was taken from us ... also summer and most of autumn ... Corona took everything from us because of joining forces to defeat the virus.

Do you still remember beautiful spring when birds sing to us and daisies bloom? However, due to corona we all spent time in front of the computers. Our eyes were burning and aching. The whole spring was taken away from us. Now here we are again ... home... experiencing distance learning again. Almost whole fall was taken from us. The same will happen to winter 🙁 I miss the old times and I truly hope to experience the coming spring to the fullest!

We only have one Earth. Let's celebrate its beauty by asking ourselves what we are doing to preserve this one home we all share.

The climate and ecological crises can no longer be solved within today's political and economic systems. And that is not an opinion, it is simple maths. It is a terrible mathematical equation we have created ourselves. We should be worried about that and do something about it, but that is another problem.

The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat all rely on biodiversity. But the choices we make as consumers also have a huge impact on our world and the species that call it home. So, what can we do to be conscious consumers and support all species?

The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?
